Living The Noble Life
Living The Noble Life. The Adventures of Jeff and Jamie. Sunday, February 1. New year, new goals. Katie has been one of my best friends since we met in gym class in 6th grade. I think we bonded over our lack of athleticism. Well, 15 years later, Katie just got back from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. I've admired her pictures she's posted of her hikes for the last year and a half, but it was this one she posted right before she left for Kilimanjaro that inspired me. Short hike around sope creek. Gotta love ...

This week I went with Brent and Landon Buhler and several of their friend to Boulder Mountain to hunt Merriam Turkeys. The camping and hunting was great high in the Boulder mountains of Southern Utah, and he weather could not have been better. It was so fun to walk back to the truck carrying my bird on my back. I'm glad my legs didn't give out. Thursday, April 28, 2011.

Jeff & Jamie May 30, 2015 - our Story
May 30, 2015. Ow it all Beg . How sweet it is to be loved by you". It was April 1st, 2011. We didn’t know each other yet, but we were about to meet at a friend’s birthday party on Catalina Island. (Thanks Mandy! Jeff was not going to go, but his friend Liz talked him into it (even though he spilled a coffee on her on the way to the boat). Jamie thought a “girls day” on an island sounded perfect! But the phone never rang…. Create a free website. Start your own free website.

Thoughts Along The Way
Thoughts Along The Way. Monday, May 31, 2010. Let me just start by saying that there is great irony in the title of this entry. Silence. I initially wanted to call this silence because it has been so long since I have written in here. I suppose you could call it blog silence. I have not written in here or anywhere else for quite a while. There has been silence, or maybe absence, in some areas of my life. Am I just afraid of what I will hear when I am silent? Monday, January 4, 2010. 2009 was a good year ...

Stories and Prayers
Monday, December 29, 2008. I was forced to join other kids that lived in the streets while tracing my way back home. I expected to have help – to find my way home, but didn’t. I ended up living on the streets. The garbage piles gave us what we needed – from metal to use to cook- to plastic – even drugs. We could tell the area that had fresh garbage because there would be lots of ravens. When we would get sick, there would be no help, no medication. Posted by Jeff and Jan. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. In th...

Jeff and Jan in Africa
Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Chavakali - Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him. This past weekend we took another evangelistic trip to Chavakali. Chavakali is a very small town located about 6 hours from Nairobi in western Kenya almost to the Uganda border. Driving there we passed through Kisumu, which is the town where Obama's grandmother still lives, but we missed seeing her. We arrived Friday night, checked into our motel, had dinner and headed to bed. All of the children loved to follow us a...

Here are some pictures of the branch and the surrounding area:. The central building of the complex, with a lobby, dining room and large Kingdom Hall. These are some of the residence buildings, there are 9 total. Most rooms have a balcony! We love sitting out on ours to get fresh air.
