The kids beat us all at poker, until Gpa Phil came through at the end. I forced the kids to go hiking on a 98 degree day. Notice the shade? See, I'm not too mean. Crazy hotel pool fun. Friday, October 31, 2014. This year for Halloween we had a ninja, leopard, witch, Rapunzel, ladybug, and dinosaur. We walked around the neighborhood and the kids made out like bandits! They were give a couple of full size candy bars and a gallon zip lock bag of candy each. That is 5 gallons of candy! Plus they were give a lot of the small lunch size bags of chips. I think those will last the rest of the year. The kids had a good time and the weather was nice it was not too cold and no rain!

Bannerman Park is a park in town and in the winter the put in a skating rink. It is open to the public at no charge. The kids had a really good time. They are really enjoying ice skating and the snow. I am impressed at how well they are getting on the skates. Sunday, February 9, 2014. Nathan going over the hills.
