Links to this post. 其實，比目魚屬於鮃科，鮃科是鰈亞目當中最多的一群，但是，有一些比目魚在日文料理裡面稱為鮃，但是有一些又被稱為鰈，該如何分辨很有趣，大部分的比目魚，兩眼都位在右側，就是左眼跑到身體右側，臉變成朝右，這就是鰈類，而若是右眼跑到左側，臉變成朝左，就是鮃，鮃在日本料理裡面又稱為きらめ，是一種高級食用魚，特別是作成握壽司，配上酸醋醬與紫蘇葉，哇真是人間美味，而魚肝煮熟變成下酒菜，另外，魚白生吃保證會補到極點，對男生女生都很好，若是去吃日本料理亭，一定要點點看糟糕，潛水好像不應該討論太多生魚片的事情.). Cocos島世界上珍奇動物與植物的保護區，電影"侏羅記公園"的靈感，就是來自於Cocos島，與世隔絕，也因此，許多瀕臨絕種的動物被保存下來，成為世界上珍貴動物的天然實驗室，有一些研究學者的確會在島上進行各種研究，一般人不會到此旅遊，不過，會潛水的人，就有機會到此一探究竟在水中，可以一次見到世界最多的鯊魚，包括鎚頭鯊、白鰭鯊、灰鰭鯊、銀絞鯊以及虎鯊，都是常客，甚至manta ray與eagle ray也會來報到魚的種類，較西巴丹是有過之而無不及，若說西巴丹就像是逛動物園動物都有固定居所，那Cocos島就是像肯亞的動物大遷徙數百萬隻的壯觀與移動，就如同discovery節目所言，從未看過如此多的魚群. 至於manta ray，見到機率是100 ，也是跑到這裡來吃，洗澡與嘿休，數百條manta一起被小魚清洗，潛水員看得渾然忘我，歐真是神奇.
