It was hard, but not as hard as I had expected! Since the gingiva is looser, it makes it easier to get down deep where the calculus is! I am feeling pretty good that I have met my requirements! Jen's Dental Hygiene Adventures. This is my Story. Saturday, February 26, 2011. National Exam.Done and Done! That was no fun. The first part had 200 questions. Of which I flagged about 60. That I was unsure about. Could have been worse right? Took a lunch break and back to work I went! 150 case study question didn't sound too horrible. On about question 58. I wanted to kill myself. Not because they were too terribly hard,. But because I had been sitting. There for close to 6 hours. And my brain was DONE.

Friday, January 21, 2011. This week in WSU clinic my mockboard patient (who may also be my board patient) came in for x-rays. Her husband also came in for a tissue evaluation. This family is so amazing! They are very reliable and thoughtful. The husband works for a contractor and offered to re-do my bathroom for free as a graduation gift! Thursday, March 3, 2011. Our crazy day at the VA. First began with a small accident at 7:30am. The man that ran into us yelled at Karina and she told him "you need to calm down.you ran into me! Then after the VA we went up to the hospital to visit a friend. After that on our way to this pastry place for some delicious desserts Karina's car just quit running. However, the good news is that throughout the weeks that I have been treating them I have seen some significant improvement. Thursday, January 27, 2011. Today we had our second mockboards. I am so happy to have found such a great patient who is so willing to help me out during mockboards and boards. She really is the best possible board patient. I finished my patient today and felt really good about what I had accomplished. I had no idea that I would have scored in the 90's though! I took my clinical boards at 7:30 this morning. I have been sick ever since! Everything went ok I guess I could say. She was on time, qualified the first time.
