Friday, January 20, 2012. Fun Day with the Carr Family. Just recently we got to spend the day with the Carr Family. They invited us to go to the railroad museum at Balboa Park. The kids LOVED it! The adults loved it too except for the part when poor Annie got a big bump on the head and Sunday ran away and was lost for a minute. Super scary! Wednesday, October 24, 2012. As of a few weeks ago, me (Alex) and Abby live together! This has been the plan for a while, and I got so anxious and excited, that I moved early. Just kidding. The real story is that I was nannying,. And planned to stay with that family until November, and then move here. Well, I quit my job early. Why, you ask? Not because I'm flaky, not because I just wanted to. I quit because they were crazy demanding, and stingy to boot. I was working 12 hour days Mon-Fri, 6:30am-6:30pm!

Live For Today. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Oliver is my boy with an imagination. He loves telling stories and playing pretend. One night he was running around the house in his pjs with a rubber band around his head like a sweat band. Then he added a cape to this costume. "I am Oliven the Strong," he proclaimed. Oh, hello, Oliven." I replied. One of the sisters happened to be from Canada. Ollie," I said "she's a Canadian.". Maybe if the sister had come over dressed like this? Then again, maybe not.
