Day at the Fire Station. For play group this week, I set up an appointment with the local fire fighters at the station a couple of blocks from our house. I thought it would be fun for the kids and they loved it! The firemen took a lot of time to talk with the kids about being firefighters, showing them their equipment, the station, and the trucks. Corn on the Cob. This little guy LOVES his corn on the cob. He eats two at dinner, usually. Someone had a birthday. He loves his Lightning McQueen backpack! He opened one gift the night before his birthday. On the big day, we met up with friends at the Cincinnati Museum Center and had a blast playing in the sandbox for 2 hours! We enjoyed lunch and cupcakes with everyon. Then after a much-needed nap, he opened gifts. The Sights of Cincy. Cincinnati, from Newport, KY. Coloring and cutting out a butterfly.

The Easter Bunny came! Bryce had a small surgery and was totally himself the next day, thank goodness! This is his "Why won't you feed me? Bryce and I had quite the adventure when we took a bus downtown to see the Reds Opening Day Parade. We had a great time but wished Jess could have come too! No More Crib/Fire Fighter/Flying Kites. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Last Saturday I ran the Top of Utah 1/2 marathon with Cindy. It was seriously so HOT! My time was pretty slow but I am glad I finished considering how overheated I was.
