Monthly Archives: February 2011. February 15, 2011 · 10:41 AM. Over the last three weeks I have had one of my good friends from Australia visiting. He had never been to Canada before, and actually never seen snow before, so it was quite entertaining watching him navigate his way down a ski hill for the first time. After our time in Fernie (and when I got time off work) we went to Vancouver to explore more around there. Out in Mission we got to relax at mum and dads, which was great!

Thursday, October 29, 2009. While in Toronto we went to the hockey hall of fame it was pretty fun. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. We lost our game last weekend, we were down two at half and then got blown out. I was so tired. I couldn't run up and down the court by the end of the game. I am blaming it on hard practices, no subs and waking up at 630am on a game day to fly to Madrid. I am hoping so because I have made it a daily habit to steal at least two. Sunday, February 21, 2010. A few pics of Olympics in Vancouver and at the Smith household. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Ben skied almost most days and was pretty sore at the end of night! I got up to ski and had a blast, I can't wait to get back into skiing I wanted to buy all sorts of gear when I was up there! The biggest news of the trip was that Ben proposed! There were a lot of phone calls made the next day! We are both pretty excited to take in some of the Olympics so we will keep you posted!

Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Worst road trip ever. Last weekend was a rough one! That is where my teammates and I spent a solid 5 hours. Dinner that evening was around 1130pm and featured multiple boccadillos from the airport. We finally got our bags and headed to a hotel in Madrid to spend the night. Sunday, October 31, 2010. A few pics of Michelle and I watching the sunset at cafe del mar. Saturday we played our game and won by quite a lot. I was exhausted after the game. I think the practices may be a little too much. I am having a achilles tendonitis flare up. Sunday, November 14, 2010. We lost another game last night. Our team played really terrible defense which is something we are normally pretty good at. The loss stings even more because it came after our first "light" week of practices. The past few weeks we have ran and ran and by the time the game rolled around on Saturday my legs were gone.
