When he got home, we got everything packed up in the car and took off! Maddie slept most of the way there. Jon, julie, and madeline}. Two Months of Madeline! Madeline is two months now! Things I'm loving at this stage:. She smiles a lot. She is starting to have "cooing conversations" with us. She LOVES looking around at everything. She's awake A LOT (sometimes I don't love this when she hasn't taken a decent nap during the day). She can hold her head up by herself pretty well. Jon, julie, and madeline}. Seven and Eight Months of Madeline! To sum up these months, this is what has been going on:. Maddie learned to sit up from lying down around 7.5 months, and then maybe a week later started crawling. She started getting into things, doing downward dogs, and climbing into my lap. Separation anxiety is in full effect here. Most days I spend with her in my lap or arms, even with her new mobility skills. Before she got distracted by ramen again. But she didn't need help for this!

I started having contractions around midnight; we got to the hospital at 3:00; I started pushing around 6:00; she was born at 6:40. I didn't have an epidural. I couldn't have done it without Will. Sunday, January 12. She likes food I don't even like. Perhaps this is compensation for the fact that she quit taking naps way before other kids quit taking naps. I left at the half to put E to bed. But it was exciting! The baby and I are doing well. 13 more days give or take. This pregnancy has been nothing like Ev's. My only complaint with her was back pain and being tired. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We have had a great time with both families this holiday season. We went to Fallon before Christmas and then to Ely after that. We were relaxing and having such a good time that I completely forgot to bring my camera out and take some pictures. But all that matters is that we had a great time with family! The only pictures I took all week were of animals! Weird to think about! Anyways have a safe and happy New Year! I'll be relaxing :).
