Sunday, April 29, 2012. Tulips for Karen's Birthday. This year, for Karen's birthday, we went to the Skagit Valley to see the tulips. It was the last weekend of the tulip festival. It was beautiful! After our visit to the tulips, we headed over to LaConner for a leisurely lunch and a walk about town. Going to LaConner is so touristy that you really feel like you've been someplace.
