Sunday, 11 September 2016. I am a mum now. My son is almost five months old. I haven't written anything in over a year, which is mad as I've probably experienced the biggest changes of my life during that time. I hated being pregnant though, and part of me worried that writing things down would somehow jinx the tiny person growing inside me. Monday, 14 September 2015. In fact, I am so damn tired I could sleep for a week. I keep having wine nightmares. In my dreams, I'll be at some sort of party or social gathering and somebody will hand me a glass of wine. I can't tell people that I'm pregnant yet, so I take it politely, planning on secretly putting it down when they're not looking. Only then I look down and realise I've drunk all the wine. Friday, 28 August 2015. Thank Fuck for Dr Google. There are an awful lot of things 'they' don't tell you about early pregnancy. Most of my friends that have had children tend to focus on late pregnancy and birth tales, rather than talking about the things that happen in those first 12 weeks.
