beta cite: Monday of the week and term
http://betacite.blogspot.com/2010/09/monday-of-week-and-term.html
Documenting Existence at Point B. Friday, September 24, 2010. Monday of the week and term. Over the weekend I can’t say I did much, Saturday especially. Then again, I think I needed the break. Sunday was lovely, however. We did our first little group field trip up to Hampstead Heath for a picnic. The view from Parliament Hill is quite the draw, with the whole city laid out to one side and the nicely wooded hills of Highgate on the other. Today was orientation for our students. Tomorrow will be nice.

For God and For Cheese: Home Ownership Miner Style
http://forgodandcheese.blogspot.com/2014/09/home-ownership-miner-style.html
For God and For Cheese. Inspired by my family motto: rants, reflections, and random events. Monday, September 22, 2014. Home Ownership Miner Style. I have received one request for pictures of our new home. So I will impose a solitary picture on the Internet at large. Earlier, I had shared one photo on Twitter. Of our amazing retro bathroom light fixtures. They are in each of the two larger bathrooms. They function in one and appear to be purely "decorative" in the other. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

beta cite: December 2010
http://betacite.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Documenting Existence at Point B. Thursday, December 16, 2010. So, it's late at night, and I'm packed and ready to go. I fell down on the job with this blog after a while (though many of you will remember that I did, in fact, predict its decline), but I am planning on a more extensive reflection of my trip over the next month or so. Will this be regular and consistent? Will it even happen? I don't know. I can't tell you if it will. We'll see. See you all soon. Signing off from London. Zen and banana bread.

Documenting Existence at Point B. Sunday, September 20, 2009. It lives again. Again. So, it's been awhile. I'm fine, how are you? A lot has happened. I'm safely ensconced in Denver (Colorado, not Denver, North Carolina. This is a fairly critical distinction) and in my studies. I've managed to kill an entire week of graduate school without it killing me back. Of course, it's hard to know if you're back in the swing of the quarter system until it takes a swing at you. Other Student Film Blogs. Back To The Dead. The Day From Hell. 9th May, 2007 Ok. This is my first blog ever and . View my complete profile. Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Today I had a meeting with a guy from Flinders Ports about using a shed on the warves. I went and saw two sheds - both really great. The first is at Outer Harbour and is very quiet and very rustic. I didn't take this photo, so it is beautiful. Now, here's hoping Julia Farr comes through for the exteriors! May 17, 2007 at 5:11 PM.

The Ogre: It's Over!
http://theogrefilm.blogspot.com/2007/07/its-over.html
Other Student Film Blogs. Back To The Dead. View my complete profile. Monday, July 2, 2007. Well, all shoots are now! Hopefully we will all have great films at the end. Lots of hard work put in by lots of hard working people over the last five weeks and I for one appreciate the professionalism of everyone involved. The Ogre film went well, although there were a few hiccups (loss of a location at the last minute being a major stress), but we managed to get all that we need - I hope!

beta cite: Calling out the inevitable
http://betacite.blogspot.com/2010/10/calling-out-inevitable.html
Documenting Existence at Point B. Monday, October 4, 2010. Calling out the inevitable. So, a confession. I've had internet. Back for the last few days, but I've found myself swamped by various commitments. I do have an awful lot to share, including reflections on the first couple weeks, the city, our trip to York, and catching up on the work I wasn't doing while I was doing all of those things. Note up for the next few weeks. yeesh. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Know That Which Has Come Before.

Documenting Existence at Point B. Friday, September 17, 2010. Move in Days (Day 3-4). Yesterday (Thursday) I checked out the various places our students will be attending classes: the Barbican Center and Guildhall for our music and drama students and City University London for everyone else. Also, got moved into our flats. They’re nice, but I don’t have a desk. I do get a room to myself, which is good, but it still has the two beds (they're all at least doubles).
