1 cup Tur Dal. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds. 2-3 slit Green Chillies. 1 tsp Grated Ginger. 1 tsp minced Garlic. 1 tsp Goda Masala. 1 pinch Garam Masala. Pressure cook the Tur Dal and Peanuts in 4 cups of water for at least 4-5 whistles. In a heavy bottom pan heat 1 tbsp Ghee and splutter the mustard and jeera. Add the Green Chillies, garlic, ginger, Hing, turmeric and onions and saute until translucent. With both my boys kicking up a storm of fun in my life I have been conveniently procrastinating on updating the blog off late. Although I am cooking up new and fun dishes everyday, there just aren't enough hours in day or energy in the hands to click/write/upload and share. Hopefully will gain more control of my time soon.sigh! 1 medium Bottle Gourd. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds. 1 cup Chana Dal. 2 tbsp Grated Coconut. 4-6 Dry Red Chillies. 1 tsp Urad Dal. 1 tbsp Rice flour. 1 tbsp grated Ginger. Peel, wash and cut the Ghia into 1-inch cubes. Pressure cook the Ghia and the Chana Dal with a pinch of turmeric and some salt in 3 cups of water for about 1-2 whistles. In a pan, add a tsp of oil and roast 2 tsp Jeera. Add the dry red chillies and roast until medium dark. Add about 2-3 tsp of ghee to the pan and splutter the mustard seeds in it.
