Team Gusy: 2011/02
http://teamgusy.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
February 25, 2011. Must be a boy thing. Playing with feet and removed sock in mouth? Must be a boy thing. February 22, 2011. I'm a do-it-myself, thrifty, explore my options and alternatives kind of gal. Making baby food's right up my alley. I'm willing to put in the work, and I do enjoy the processes and products, too. I looked into a couple of books, but by friend's recommendation, use Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron. My copy is now dog earred and food stained. The way any good cookbook should be! The res...

August 28, 2011. There is always something really fun and really challenging at each stage and age, but I gotta admit, right now is a time I'd like to bottle up. I love it! The baby Judah is disappearing and the little boy Judah is appearing before my very eyes. His very being- namely those thick thighs and big feet- declares toddlerhood, independence, exploration, experimentation, and pride! For all he's learned to do, I wish his big sister had not shown him how to flush the toilet. He loves to do i...

January 24, 2011. Sometimes I think I see a lot of me in Judah. Maybe it's just the smile. Much more me than spitting-image-of Noah Georgia. Since Georgia's hair has grown out, more people say she looks. Like me but the other night when her hair was wet. And pulled back from her face. All I could say was, you may have my eye color. And look a little like me with long hair,. But hello Little Noah Face! January 1, 2011. We were filled with joy and excitement this week when Noah was offered a full-time, yea...

Team Gusy: 11 Months
http://teamgusy.blogspot.com/2011/09/11-months.html
September 13, 2011. Today I woke up and looked at my boy. I thought, "This is his boy face. This is the face he's gonna keep! It's a handsome little countenance. Judah is now 11 months old. It now takes three hands for Georgia to count old "how many months Judah is." She confirmed with me today that he is one-one months. I am excited to celebrate his. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Team Gusy: One More
http://teamgusy.blogspot.com/2011/09/one-more.html
September 13, 2011. Georgia was starting AWANA this fall, and I was super excited for her. We picked our church, in part, because they offered this biblical program. Since she was a baby, I've longed for her to become a Cubbie and learn to hide God's Word in her heart. My line all day was, "Oh, I'm. The check-in lady." It always got chuckles. It was very convicting. One More doesn't seem like too much to do, now does it? I told God I would pack our two boxes we usually do, and One More. I wish you could ...

April 25, 2011. I can't get to the computer fast enough to write these down! Georgia is a hoot right now! The other day we were in the car and Judah pulled his blanket up just as I was reaching back to push the carseat cover back so I could see him. Georgia looked over to see him bringing the blanket back down and gasped, "He 'prised us! As in he's learned to play peek-a-boo back and pulling the blanket down was his way of saying, "Surprise! April 16, 2011. Mom, Judah's not crying.". Driving to school on...

Team Gusy: 2010/12
http://teamgusy.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
December 23, 2010. Hello to our Oregon readers! We love you and miss you so much! May you each know how dear you are to us! I hope you get a kick out of this. We often say Georgia is our little Oregonian, because, in fact, she is. She may not have lived there long, but she was born there and that makes her native (being native is a big deal to Oregonians). We've taken the girl out of her home state, but rest assured, the state is within her. The girl. An Oregonian in spirit and mindset. Hurry to get there.

July 14, 2011. Played peek-a-boo with his sister. And got caught standing unassisted, twice. He also responded to my quiet and firm. Bedtime "It's time to go to sleep" with. A shameless grin and giggle. So I grinned back. And tickled him until the baby. Equivalent of "mercy.". I've been thinking all day, "Just one year ago.". When I went to look at pictures I opened the 7/14 file. And realized it was last 7/14, not today. And suddenly I saw life just one year ago. Georgia imitating big people.
