Anschließend absolvierte er ein zweites Studium an der Hochschule für Musik/Köln - Abt. Wuppertal bei Gerd-Michael Dausend, dass er mit dem Diplom "Künstlerische Reifeprüfung" abschloss. Desweiteren besuchte er Meisterkurse bei Eduardo Ergüez für Barockgitarre und bei Angelo Gilardino für Neue Musik.
