Saturday, February 4, 2012. A much needed girls night :) This past Wednesday our other Small Group through me a wonderful baby shower. I hadn't seen these girls in awhile, and they are precious to me. I've missed them! The night was perfect. First we met at a restaurant in Homewood called Jackson's and enjoyed catching up. The place was packed downstairs, but thankfully we had the entire upstairs to ourselves, which made it easy to have real conversations. Thursday, February 2, 2012. Check Out These Blogs.

Recipes From Newlyweds: Enchilada Casserole
http://recipesfromnewlyweds.blogspot.com/2013/06/enchilada-casserole.html
Food is our common ground, a universal experience." - James Beard. Tuesday, June 4, 2013. This recipe is from Birmingham's Junior League Cookbook,. I tried this dish at a recent meeting and then made it for friends after they had a baby. It's a great recipe to make and take since it's a whole meal in one dish. It's also a really easy way to make Mexican food at home - and who doesn't love that? 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained. 1 1/2 pound lean ground beef. 1/2 onion, chopped.

Food is our common ground, a universal experience." - James Beard. Monday, February 25, 2013. Chicken, Pesto, and Spinach Quinoa. I've been wanting to try quinoa since it seems to be everywhere now! This was the first recipe I've made, and I really liked the way it turned out. The cheese and pesto help to give it a creamier taste, so it doesn't seem dried out. I'm definitely going to be trying some other quinoa recipes in the future! Photo from Sea Jet Cook. Chicken, Pesto, and Spinach Quinoa. In a bakin...

Food is our common ground, a universal experience." - James Beard. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. It's become our tradition to have friends over for Easter Brunch. This was our fourth year of hosting Easter Brunch, and we love spending it with other friends who don't have family in town. I'm always in charge of the dessert, and this year I decided to try something really fun! I had seen this cake on Pinterest and had been saving it for Easter. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out! 1 T cocoa powder.

Cake Battery: Disclaimer

Navigating my way through torts and tortes, hedges and hedge funds. Monday, March 21, 2011. Although spring in West Texas is not as wonderful as it is in many other places in the country (here it means wind and dust), I am still very excited for spring. It has gotten me thinking about the beautiful things I would plant if I lived somewhere where things actually grew. Like this lovely garden from Southern Living. How I long for a perfectly manicured lawn with hydrangeas galore. View my complete profile.

Navigating my way through torts and tortes, hedges and hedge funds. Saturday, April 3, 2010. As I think about Easter weekend this song comes to mind. Wishing all a wonderful Easter weekend as we remember the ultimate sacrifice of our savior! Alas and Did My Savior Bleed". Alas and did my savior bleed. And did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head. For sinners such as I? Was it for sins that I have done. He suffered on the tree? And love beyond degree! Well might the sun in darkness hide.
