Stop Looking Out My Window!: Rip Van Winkle, Jr.
http://stoplookingoutmywindow.blogspot.com/2012/09/rip-van-winkle-jr.html
Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Rip Van Winkle, Jr. Yesterday, upon being woken up for school, Owen pulls the covers over his head and says in a groggy voice, "Wake me up in fifty years." And so it begins. Doodle bug, doodle bug.time to wake up! September 12, 2012 at 8:59 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Find Us On Ravelry! Year in Pictures 2011. Stop Looking Out My Window!: Happy Birthday, Lynda!
http://stoplookingoutmywindow.blogspot.com/2012/11/happy-birthday-lynda.html
Monday, November 12, 2012. Happy Birthday, Lynda! Here is a little autumn sunshine to illustrate the glow I feel when I think of our friendship - across miles and miles of land and sea, but closer than next door in my heart. Happy Birthday, Lynda! All my love to you on your special day. The day became that extra bit special when I saw your photo and birthday wishes. Thank you Erin. November 13, 2012 at 3:30 AM. Lots of Love to Lynda on her birthday and always. November 13, 2012 at 11:50 AM.

Stop Looking Out My Window!: A trip to the mountain
http://stoplookingoutmywindow.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-trip-to-mountain.html
Friday, January 4, 2013. A trip to the mountain. These photos don't do our trip to Mt. Hood justice. The sky was so blue, the sun warm, and the air cold. When I walked through the woods all sounds except the creaking of the trees disappeared into a snowy silence. I hope we go again soon; I haven't had my fill of that snow silence yet. Especially on a day where the temp is 41C here. I dont know what those trees are but they sure look pretty and different from ours. Like lots of Christmas trees.
Two Red Doors: Porch Plans
http://two-red-doors.blogspot.com/2013/10/porch-plans.html
Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Do you want to see my new porch? I thought that you might. I have wanted a porch for Sooooooo long. We built it right here. Then it looked like this. There should be a stage 2 picture here. but there isn't. because I did not take one. Then it looked like this! I can't wait for porch furniture, and porch plants, and porch sitting. I am also loving the new door look. I used this. Tutorial. Found on Pinterest of course. October 1, 2013 at 9:43 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Two Red Doors: Breastfeeding is a Bitch...
http://two-red-doors.blogspot.com/2014/11/breastfeeding-is-bitch.html
Saturday, November 1, 2014. Breastfeeding is a Bitch. But we lovingly do it anyway. My girl Cassi Clark wrote a book! It is a really fun challenge to try and capture the spirit of a book, and hopefully draw in the prospective reader. When the book was completed, and copies were in our own hot little hands; I got to go to Denver for Cassi's book signing, which was at The Horsehead - Cassi and hubby's favorite local bar/ restaurant. Cassi signing her book! Here is the book announcement. Check it out! Creat...
Two Red Doors: October 2012
http://two-red-doors.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 6, 2012. This is my favorite. Right now, when the light is so perfectly golden and the grey of winter has not yet come to stay; and the air is still warm but chill in the morning. I love the canning and roasting of tomatoes when the smell of garlic fills the house. I love the way it is now not just acceptable, but almost mandatory to knit and bake. Fall is my favorite. Japanese Gardens, Portland. In Portland, where I had been wanting to go for a while. Photos courtesy of Basset Studios.
Two Red Doors: Brookings, OR
http://two-red-doors.blogspot.com/2013/09/brookings-or.html
Sunday, September 15, 2013. Last month we took our annual Anniversary trip. Just me and my man. We do love our Anniversary trips and dearly love to explore the Oregon Coast. So, we were off to Brookings. Brookings is a weird little town. They have commandeered most of their rather nice beachfront property for a water treatment plant. Of all things. Weird. The entire town shuts down, as far as we could tell at about 5, and doesn't actually come alive until around 11:00 am. See. Earl E Books - Brookings, OR.
Two Red Doors: Small Town Parade
http://two-red-doors.blogspot.com/2012/07/small-town-parade.html
Saturday, July 28, 2012. I love small town parades. Let me be precise. I live in a small town. Unlike some people who most likely do not live in small towns themselves, I do not romanticize the smallness of it. In case you couldn't read the sign. I enlarged it for you. I am good like that. It is much like Stephen King is narrating in my head. The way he writes each character, making them so full of humanness. Best politics ever. Cleaning up after the horses. I want to grin, and wave and clap, "I see you!
Two Red Doors: September 2013

Thursday, September 19, 2013. Seen while out and about. Someone made the most of their space this season. Sunday, September 15, 2013. Last month we took our annual Anniversary trip. Just me and my man. We do love our Anniversary trips and dearly love to explore the Oregon Coast. So, we were off to Brookings. Brookings is a weird little town. Two Red Doors: Oregon Jamboree 2012
http://two-red-doors.blogspot.com/2012/10/oregon-jamboree-2012.html
Saturday, October 6, 2012. Playing catch-up now to show you these beautiful photos of the Oregon Jamboree merchandise booth. Our friend Dave * caught the last of the evening light and the evening crowd. You can't see the thousands of people, or feel the extreme heat of the day here, though I remember both clearly. A shot behind the scenes on the first day. I still have trouble believing the number of people with the foresight to buy sweatshirts in the heat. Photos courtesy of Basset Studios.

Learn about my experiences in Chiang Mai, Thailand this summer as I build relationships with the Thai students and bring them closer to the church! Friday, August 1, 2008. They banged on drums to wake us up, and we got into lines and started doing aerobic excercies with them. at 6 AM! Monday, July 21, 2008. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. On Sunday after church I did the bravest thing I have ever done, and that was bungee jumping! Sunday, July 6, 2008. 160;I just wanted to write a post about today and talk about...
KatieLiz Knits
Monday, February 11, 2008. Don't these remind you of Spring and Easter eggs? They do, me! Do you love them? Do you know someone that would? And make them your own; and do a good thing at the same time. : ). Posted by KatieLiz @ 11:02 PM. Tuesday, February 05, 2008. And I was doing so well. With posting more often. Ah, well. Anyhow, this is the last full pair of socks I knit in 2007. I started them at the UMBS. And here's the new sock on the block. Or in my purse. I'm using Wildefoote Elderberry a...Shop ...

I have things to say. About comics, books, reading, writing, and publishing in general. Classics2016 was basically an abject failure, but IT’S FINE. December 18, 2016. December 18, 2016.
