The Mortensen's: Lava, the Burg and a full moon
http://kymortensens.blogspot.com/2014/04/lava-burg-and-full-moon.html
Friday, April 4, 2014. Lava, the Burg and a full moon. I even crammed in an 8 1/2 mile run on a small highway in the middle of nowhere and it was so gorgeous I could have ran all day! That night we hit up the mineral hot pools which would have been way more fun without kids. I would have preferred to just sit and soak with Wayne. Instead I simultaneously held Tate and Gages' injured toe out of the water the whole time. Oh the joys of having rambunctious boys. Running on vacation=Hard Core. Bobby and Eric...

John, Tami and the "Darlings": March 2011
http://johnandtami.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
John, Tami and the "Darlings". Friday, March 18, 2011. Big Boy Birthdays and Life with the Baby Boys. So what's my excuse this time (being late with writing the family history)! Well, my computer was overloaded with pictures so much so that I couldn't make any more collages. We finally figured out how to put the new pictures on. So let's get started. Oh you might notice Daddy on a Skype call above. Daddy was teaching at BYU on Michael's birthday, which means Daddy left for work before Michael woke up...

John, Tami and the "Darlings": October 2010
http://johnandtami.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
John, Tami and the "Darlings". Friday, October 15, 2010. Put on Your Armour Michael. He'll respond yes or rush to finish saying his prayer. He's a great example. Before we left Ireland, Michael had the opportunity to give three talks in Primary. He did such a wonderful job. We would discuss the topics and then practice the talks. He also would give them at Family Home Evening. These have also become a part of his Spiritual armoury, and I'll include them below. I am thankful for Jesus Christ. I am tha...

The Mortensen's: Baby Mine.....
http://kymortensens.blogspot.com/2014/01/baby-mine.html
Tuesday, January 21, 2014. I have talented sister in laws. Remember how Jessica decorated Wayne's office? Well Rebecca is a super talented photographer. She came over when Tate was a week old to do a photo shoot right in my living room. How convenient! Of course they all turned out amazing and I wish she had been around to do the first 3 kids! Thanks Rebecca. If looking at these doesn't make you baby hungry nothing will. He is so, sooo cute! January 22, 2014 at 12:06 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

John, Tami and the "Darlings": November 2009
http://johnandtami.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
John, Tami and the "Darlings". Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Well actually it was in the last weeks of September that John and I went to the Stake Ball. A lady in our ward has played in the National Symphony and has real connections in the music arena here. Patricia asked John and me if we would sing a duet for the ball – the waltz from the opera. Anyway our number came and went well. Wow, it's amazing to sing to live accompaniment. We had a wonderful night. To Infinity and Beyond. Jaden's on the Move.

The Mortensen's: Wax on....Wax off....
http://kymortensens.blogspot.com/2014/01/wax-onwax-off.html
Friday, January 17, 2014. Wax on.Wax off. Well friends, it's been awhile, so I decided to come back with a bang! Riley was seriously into that. I wonder if he would have been so fascinated if the roles were reversed. January 17, 2014 at 3:03 PM. HOW did I miss this! January 17, 2014 at 3:12 PM. Totally laughing my head off! Especially because Wayne hardly has any hair on his chest as it is . . . at least compared to Br. Ditto. :). January 18, 2014 at 5:07 PM. January 19, 2014 at 2:46 PM. 03/30 - 04/06 (1).

The Mortensen's: Ode to the Dad...
http://kymortensens.blogspot.com/2013/06/ode-to-dad.html
Sunday, June 16, 2013. Ode to the Dad. Wayne of course is the best dad ever! According to the kids cards they made at church today he is the best at soccer, (Gavin) and fixing teeth and growing grass (Liv, our new houses’ yard was in desperate need of help). He is the all american dad. He bbq’s, plays outside with the kids, takes us camping and works like a horse. He is such a hands on dad and I love him for it! Happy father’s day daddy-o, I sure love you! Here he is on the day he became a dad. 01/12 - 0...

The Mortensen's: The baby whisperer...
http://kymortensens.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-baby-whisperer.html
Friday, February 14, 2014. That's what I call Gavin. When Tate is fussing for everyone else, Gavin can hold him and he calms right down. He can even get him to sleep which is a lifesaver when you are trying to get the other little blos lunch and down for naps. I know I can count on Gavin to help out. He is growing up way too fast. I can't believe he is 6! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Love these hair do's. All kinds of weather, we stick together.". Cousin and Brother Ditto. Mom and Dad Mortensen.

John, Tami and the "Darlings": September 2010
http://johnandtami.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
John, Tami and the "Darlings". Sunday, September 26, 2010. The Move – Sept 2010. Patrick came over and helped in moving furniture several times. We cleaned the house (again with the help of friends/family Granny, Gabrielle, Angie, Brenda), packed our suitcases (9 in total) and were ready for our flight on Sept 22. It all worked out. God prepared a path for us, and gave us the strength to do it. Some of my thoughts are captured in the talk I gave in our ward on our last Sunday. When his father had a visio...

John, Tami and the "Darlings": March 2010
http://johnandtami.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
John, Tami and the "Darlings". Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Yeah I know, not the best title; but, it will work. The last few weeks have been very memorable. The day before Mother's Day (the Irish one), we welcomed our new niece to Ireland. Rosa has finally come home. Gabrielle and Ian adopted their daughter from Russia, and we went to the airport to welcome their family home. We are so excited for them. Rosa is only two weeks younger than Eva, and Eva can't wait to play with her new cousin. A day in the life.
