It is Education Week this week and we have been making some great artwork for the school artshow. We extended our knowledge of feelings and colours by making some 3D papier mache masks. As part of our work last term, we talked and wrote about our bedrooms. Once we had created the models of our rooms (see below), we read the book. Where the Wild Things. My bedroom is a fairy room. Then we made a number line out of our shoes. It was hard working out where our shoe should go! Our smallest shoe measured 12 cubes. Our biggest shoes measured 36 cubes. We love watching it flap its wings. Slowly it changed colour. Then the butterfly started to come out of its chrysalis. The chrysalis was empty and see-through. We still have one green chrysalis.
