Recently, we went to Bar Louie at Bayshore Mall and the outdoor balcony made this a very kid friendly place. Friday, August 8, 2008. Milwaukee Boat Line - The Iroquois. Sailing on Milwaukee’s Lakefront is a surefire to entertain children. We had a five year old in tow, who enjoyed watching the bridges rise over the Milwaukee River and waving to people at the cafes and restaurants along the river. Out on the lake, there were beautiful white sailboats adorning the lake and the breeze was perfect for a boat ride. And in Milwaukee it's even easy to get free street parking on a Sunday, not far from the boat dock!

Just across from the Downer cinema, this corner cafe offers amazing Belgian beer, a bubbling fountain and a little taste of Europe. With a five year old in tow, we refrained from the excellent beer, but the kids menu is just right too.
