In 2011, a church born out of local home meetings in Bukasa Katogole Zone in Muyenga was established. The teaching was about the restoration of the purity and power of the first-century apostolic Church described in the book of Acts. The essentials of this teaching emphasized the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and the return to the pattern of church government outlined in the New Testament. More. A Brief History of The Living Word Fellowship. Steward Evelyn Grace Anywar passed on the mantle on January 4, 2012. Prior to this, she commissioned Wilberforce Walusimbi to oversee spiritual direction of Uganda House of Prayer for All Nations. Steward also commissioned Margaret Nyadoi to carry on the Church's teaching ministry of the Scriptures to be assisted by Jean Kaahwa and Grace Walusimbi the administration segment. The Scriptures is the thread that knits together the members of this fellowship.

Our Purpose Defined in Scripture. The congregations associated as The Uganda House of Prayer for All Nations share the belief that the purpose of the Church is to empower individuals to experience daily what the Apostle Paul describes in Ephesians 4:1 16:. The Church is to become the Bride of Christ, wholly pleasing to Him, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing (Ephesians 5:27). We will rule and reign with Him in His Kingdom!
