Stainmore Railway Company at Kirkby Stephen East. 2011 saw the grand re-opening of Kirkby Stephen East Station to the public with our Stainmore 150 Event. This was the culmination of 14 years hard work. The work undertaken on the site from 1997 can be seen on the KSE archival website. And the following three pictures are of the western end of the station. The site was used as a bobbin factory prior to 1997 which preserved the station buildings.
