A story of 2 lesbians becoming mums. 4 weeks and 5 days. So my pregnancy app tells me. Besides from the on and off nauseous feeling I get (which is more off than on) the only other symptom I have is gas/constipation. TMI I know but this is the reality of it. Lol. I don’t really “feel” pregnant and that scares me but I’m just holding out hope until my next blood test on Wednesday to make sure my numbers are doubling. 6 thoughts on “ 4 weeks and 5 days. A story of 2 lesbians becoming mums. This year has been the worst of my life. Never have i been more broken, never have a spent countless days and nights just crying until this year. Then our Christmas miracle happened, the day I got my first ever positive pregnancy test. Christmas Eve my beta hcg was 166. Now today on New Year’s Eve my beta hcg is 4600! So I have finished both my attachment parenting book and How Not to Fuck Them Up. I’ve now read four books, various bits of each were helpful, and various bits of each were not helpful, and then various bits of each were actively angering or upsetting. I’m glad I read all four, but I’m not happy with any of them. Dads (or non-gestational parents) are just substitutes?
