Move to California. I feel like I should update the world on my life - not that it's even remotely exciting. Joe was here for 10 days over break and we didn't kill eachother. Generally a good sign, methinks :) I'm leaving tomorrow to spend my "spring break" with him. I really do have no life.

But seriously, I'm a college student, it's finals time, that stuff is important too, right? I really have to knuckle down and get some work done today. Finish cover letter and have it proof read. I just purchased a new laptop that (of course) has Vista on it. There are 2 things that I'm sure will seem silly but are driving me crazy that I hope you can help me with. 1) I have Firefox set as my default browser, but when I go to my email from either Yahoo Messenger or the Gmail Notifier, it's opening in IE. Please please please tell me this can be fixed! 2) I keep setting it so I don't have the Google Desktop toolbar, but every time I restart it pops back up again. Post a new comment.

I am a total noob here. Anyway, any little help would be much appreciated. I'm planning to purchase a laptop (for upcoming university) within a week or so, and of course many laptops come equipped with Vista installed already. I don't know much about the operating system, infact I've sorta stayed away from it from all the horror stories I have heard about it.
