New Cool Thang (defunct version). It may or may not actually be cool, but it is a mess o' Mormon Musings and whatnot by yer ol' pal, GFJ. Friday, February 25, 2005. All is Well, All is Well! And "We'll make the air with music ring, shout praises to our God and King" because of it. Thank you for being among our saviors. Thank you for mourning with us as we mourned and comforting us as we stood in need of comfort. Miracles happen. I’m glad I am a Mormon boy. Posted by Geoff J at 2/25/2005 07:07:00 PM.

New Cool Thang (defunct version): Twisting God's arm?
http://gfj-thang.blogspot.com/2005/03/twisting-gods-arm.html
New Cool Thang (defunct version). It may or may not actually be cool, but it is a mess o' Mormon Musings and whatnot by yer ol' pal, GFJ. Wednesday, March 02, 2005. In Sunday school this week I used the term "twisting God's arm" as a way of describing the process of petitioning the Lord with enough fervency and faith (and sometimes through enough people) to get a mighty miracle. It was a tongue-in-cheek reference and I qualified this term by mentioning God wants. After the events of the last week. In con...

Wednesday, December 14, 2005. Marsha J. Evans is retiring. In related news, FMH recently posted. About the care and handling of trolls. How did we become so critical? I agree there is a need and a place for critical dialog and debate, but it seems that we're overwhelmed with shouting blindly at anyone who's ideas oppose. One of my favorite media moments this year came when Jon Stewart of The Daily Show. Was a guest on Crossfire ( here's the clip. This isn't the way of the Savior. With my wife in 1993.

Friday, December 16, 2005. Recently, part of an article in WIRED magazine detailed some of the struggles scientist are having in creating visual recognition software and hardware for a variety of uses. There are huge hurdles to still become in order to make machines "see" as we do. Was a long and arduous one. 10:52 AM by The Narrator Link.
