At this point, I decided to add half a jalapeño pepper, seeds and all, for that extra zing we like. This is definitely optional. Add salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. A perfect Sunday supper. As the day progressed, other happy swimmers showed up but we still had plenty of room to float around on our noodles and wile away the hours, getting out only to have lunch.
