Knitting in Dundee: I can't help myself

http://knittingindundee.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-cant-help-myself.html

About my knitting, my friends at the knitting group in Dundee and my attempts to finish many projects. Thursday, 31 January 2008. I can't help myself. I was browsing other blogs and I came across these fabulous transition gloves. So of course I had to search to find where I could buy the pattern and found it at Knit Purl. I decided to knit them in mulberry and peony. Even though the wool and pattern was coming from America it came very quickly. The colours are great! I can't wait to see them finished!

About my knitting, my friends at the knitting group in Dundee and my attempts to finish many projects. Thursday, 17 January 2008. These are all the things I have to complete. A couple of these things have moved house about four times and one of them is nearly twenty years old. So many of them are just waiting to have button bands or just to be sewn up - the bit I hate doing. Labels: Projects to complete. I love your pictures. See you on Wednesday. 21 January 2008 at 00:39. I cant help myself.

Knitting in Dundee: A whole new stash

http://knittingindundee.blogspot.com/2008/02/whole-new-stash.html

About my knitting, my friends at the knitting group in Dundee and my attempts to finish many projects. Tuesday, 5 February 2008. A whole new stash. I was at Twist Fibre. In Newburgh on Saturday at a spinning class. It was really good fun but I seemed to have real problems with the concept 'clockwise' hence the arrow that was helpfully drawn on my spindle. Of course I couldn't leave without buying the equipment for my new project - you will see I like bold colours. 8 February 2008 at 03:22. Knit 1 Bake 2.

Knitting in Color

Friday, November 30, 2012. I am in the middle of my holiday knitting. I still have another pair of gift socks and a hat to finish but they should be fast so I actually just cast on some fingerless gloves for myself. Here are some of my recently finished projects. Here are the It's Tea Time Socks. By Stephanie van der Linden (from her Around the World in Knitted Socks. Book) I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Apricot and size 2.5 mm dpns. Links to this post. Monday, July 23, 2012. Yes you read that rig...

Knitting Increases

Monday, September 07, 2009. Proof my mother loves me. Not that I needed any, but this sure was a nice surprise:. Mom and Dad brought it home from a recent trip back home. This stuff is the essence of summer vacation. Ah the memories. What a treat; thanks, Mom! Posted by Kirsten @ 5:41 PM. Monday, July 06, 2009. 1 ball, 2 strikes. So I mentioned the other day that I started a sweater. I'm working on Lift and Separate from the original Big Girl Knits. The wine bottle is a bit of a souvenir from Pam. You kn...

Knitting in Dundee

About my knitting, my friends at the knitting group in Dundee and my attempts to finish many projects. Monday, 25 February 2008. Knitting in purple (part 1). I have a theme going on here - purple. This is from the Erika Knight Classic book and is knitted in Kidsilk mohair. I just have to sew on the fastenings and sew on the ends - I must do it soon or it will sit for months. Finally, this is a picture that Paul took and framed for my Valentine's present - I absolutely love it. Tuesday, 5 February 2008.

Knitting in Engineering

Thursday, March 02, 2006. Yes folks, that's right, Knitting in Engineering is happening. I talked to Erica about it today, and she's about as excited as I am. Here's a logo for now, i used Paint, so it's not perfect, but it's a start! Looking for ideas for a slogan. Posted by Andrea at 2:35 PM. Wednesday, March 01, 2006. This is an idea right now, still working some kinks out and figuring out just how it will work, but check back in a little bit, because there will be more! Posted by Andrea at 8:12 AM.
