We knit, and blog about it! Laquo; Another Free Pattern! March 22, 2008 by rero. Anna and I designed pillows we wanted to knit together a couple weeks ago. We both had Yarn Bee: Frosting and Yarn Bee: Airy in different colors, but we wanted to make matching pillows with our names on them! We need to get some bulky yarn so we can make the Drops Cable Bags while we’re on a 7 or 8 hour bus ride, and for the first time every I get to go to an all-yarn store! Monday, February 16, 2009. I finished this on Thursday. It still needs buttons but other than that it is done! It was really fast, it only took me 9 days or so. :) I used Cascade 220 and size 3 needles. Here is the ravelry link. My sister and I spent this afternoon dyeing the Cascade 220 I bought last week with Kool-Aid! We used 2 packets of Lemon Lime and 2 packets of Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade. I have one skein of this and since I just made a pair of ankle socks from a 50g skein of sock yarn with a lot of yarn left over, I think I would be able to get a pair of socks with an inch or two or three of cuff from this. Tuesday, July 8, 2008. I went outside a while ago. It's 86 degrees outside so it was yucky. I took pics of the lilies and the tomatoes. We found three more growing for a total of six tomatoes! Friday, February 6, 2009. Sweaters and a Snail. These are my Breeze. Socks I used Patons Stretch Sock yarn and this picture isn't the greatest but oh well. This is the Miitten. I made. I only made one because I didn't feel like making two and I'm not giving them to anyone so it doesn't matter. If I get bored sometime I'll probably make the second one. I wanted to make it because I love playing the Wii! My sister bought one in December and it's awesome! This is a Mochimochi Land snail. It's the Baby Bolero.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. September 25, 2015. Every one posting Christmas countdowns to Facebook is striking fear into me. My Christmas knitting is so far behind! Each one of my boys wants their own new pair of wool socks for Christmas. I hope I can finish the sock (my first for me) on those needles, and then move on to three pairs for my kids. My oldest now has feet close in size to mine so that is a big job! I will do my best though! March 24, 2013. I hope everyone has had an awesome week!
