December | 2008 | Knitting Material
https://knittingmaterial.wordpress.com/2008/12
December 26, 2008. Posted by Sheila in Finished Items. 1 comment so far. We braved the snow and ice to get to Whole Foods the night before Christmas Eve so that I could spend a small fortune on fresh veal shanks, saffron threads for risotto, and the real Parmigiano Reggiano. I planned to create this exquisite ossobucco. And serve it to my beautiful daughter and her boyfriend. No Was it wonderful to spend time with family and not worry about the fact that the plans had to be changed? December 23, 2008.

Oh my God, Just Lay Me Down. October 31, 2009. Posted by Sheila in Uncategorized. I am sitting at my desk in my office on a Saturday. Why? We finished the third Nathanial Starbuck book,. 8221; From that time forward, the phrase was used to provoke roils of laughter among the troops. It’s still sort of a headscratcher, but I guess the phrase is supposed to mean, in a semi-sarcastic sort of way, that you realize you might as well just give up, because this foe is so formidable. Thoughts? October 31, 2009.

November 10, 2009. Posted by Sheila in Uncategorized. But the thing is, it does not require significant effort to make a mistake while playing a piano composition, in terms of preparation. You miss a note, you’ve wasted a mere second. You might want to cause yourself bodily harm from frustration, but you can always get up from the piano and pretend it never happened. There’s no physical reminder of your failure. 1 Mundi - November 10, 2009. 2 Sheila - November 11, 2009. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

October 29, 2008. Posted by Sheila in Uncategorized. 1 comment so far. Yesterday I was rearranging books and shelves and came across an old notebook from around 1993. In it I had written several things; synopses of stories, letters, etc. I was surprised by what I read– it made me laugh and it made me cry. There were four other people in the band: a drummer, a pianist, a guitarist, and a bassist. When they played you felt like you were riding through the middle of a waterfall– a musical one, tha...8221; t...

Lappone: Knitting in the old tradition
http://lappone.blogspot.com/2011/09/favourite-stitch-pattern-for-mittens.html
Torsdag 22 september 2011. Knitting in the old tradition. The first time I saw this stitch pattern I knew that I would make at least one pair of mittens using it. The sheer symmetry and harmony that it displays appeals strongly to me. It was part of a mitten from the north of Halland, Sweden. When it comes to knitting, Halland is foremost known for the fantastic Binge tradition. But I have never seen this pattern used in Binge knitting. 140 grams in total. Etiketter: knitting / stickning. Det finns verkl...
