Only nine years old and she has already shown the drive and artistic genius of Van Gogh. She plays well with others, and still has both her ears! Monday, September 25, 2006. Cancer of the Humor. Masses of everything upon everything with faith and laughter. Thursday, June 28, 2007. Opening night for Seussical. Was tonight, and though I'm prejudice, I thought it was great! My Hannah Hoo plays the Sour Kangaroo. It's been quite a while since I've heard her sing, and the girl's got pipes! As she has matured, she's gone from first soprano to a high alto and her voice is so strong. Hannah has been Hannah Hoo ever since playing Cindy Loo Hoo when she was part of the Knoxville Children's Choir. I don't ...

Masses of Everything: May 2007

Masses of everything upon everything with faith and laughter. Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Ding Dong the Witch is dead. Passed away, and I could have sworn I heard Munchkins. Singing. Falwell gave many all the reason they needed to dismiss everything and everyone on the right. Extremism breeds extremism, and Falwell was conceived during the Democratic convention of 1968, germinated during the Nixon years, and finally born from the Carter administration. Even Bill Graham was thinking "Damn! Then walk out the ...

http://massesofeverything.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Masses of everything upon everything with faith and laughter. Monday, October 23, 2006. A Day that will live in Smurf-infamy. On this day in 1958 a Frenchman (go figure) introduced the world to Smurfs. From that day till this the world has been covered in the blue darkness. Saturday, October 21, 2006. Now that the Tennessee / Alabama game is over, I turn my focus to one of the day's lesser sporting events. The World Series starts tonight, and despite my affection for many friends like Stan Love who a...

Masses of Everything: February 2007
http://massesofeverything.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Masses of everything upon everything with faith and laughter. Wednesday, February 07, 2007. Move over Lord Byron. The other day I came across a poem written by Clara Grace, and felt sure this was the germination of greatness. The poem talked of love and the angst of not being certain one is loved. I knew right away that one day, and one day soon, she would take her place along side the greats like Yeats, Byron. And dear Ole' Uncle Walt. Apparently Byron may be safe a bit longer.
