K lyn wurth author blog great plains and western fiction. Find your place in a story. Seven Kinds of Rain. The Darkwater Liar’s Account. December 8, 2014. By K Lyn Wurth. The Darkwater Liar’s Account. My main character mentions that the Pawnee once ranged over her Nebraska farm, near the fictional town of Darkwater Creek. What appears to be a passing comment in that context is for me a significant allusion to the historic and current Pawnee presence along the Republican River. One of many there. I ha...

Interview with author William R. Leibowitz. 8203;Tell us about your genre. How did you come to choose it? Why does it appeal to you? What do you find most challenging about the writing process, and how do you deal with it? I need to do a great deal of research for my writing. This is a painstaking and exacting process. While it can be interesting at times, it also can be somewhat tiresome. I discipline myself to do it assiduously because I want my work to be credible. I’ve learned that there is no ...
