I've been back in England for almost a month and it's definately business as usual (i.e. falling asleep at my desk! My three months in the States seems so far away and a little unreal - did it really happen? Was it really me who went to all of those amazing places? Has it changed me? Yes - I have photos to prove it. Yes - I was that lucky. Yes - In some respects. Look at what I did - cool huh?

Sunday, July 31, 2005. Our final full day was spent on the beach, at first glance it was overcast but it was wonderfully warm and I read (Wanderlust-A History of Walking by Rebecca Solnit, Wanderlust being close to my heart! And didn’t notice that I was being slowly cooked and in the process was developing the most luminous tan lines. We rounded the day off with more food and drink and more than slightly tipsy I sat in bed and wrote:. You can tell I was tipsy but it gets the point across!

Thursday, July 28, 2005. OK folks, I know I have been utterly useless at writing up the end of my trip, I will do it I promise. I seem to have hit the ground with rather a bump and maybe part of my brain reckons that if I don't complete the blog then the trip will never really be over!
