ELCA Global Mission contributes up to $6,000 for each young adult's year of mission service. However, I am responsible for raising a minimum of $4,000. Support me for a day! Support me for a week! Journeys, adventures, and travels through the days! Wednesday, July 14, 2010. I’ve always found Mother’s Day to be a special holiday—it almost always seems to be sunny, there are always flowers, hugs, maybe a little gift, a delicious meal, and a lot of love. Here in Magyarmecske things were a little bit different. While I missed my mother on the day (and maybe she missed me) I saw something else that was a beautiful and different expression of the holiday. For example, when I was with the 2. This verse m...

Journeys, adventures, and travels through the days! Wednesday, July 22, 2009. I want to thank the congregation of St. Paul for all of their donations - almost $3,000 has been raised! These gifts have been some amazingly generous and I appreciate so much wonderful support. The days seem to be going by faster and faster as I try to fit in all the things I want to do and see all the people I want to see. I look forward to keeping you all posted on what is yet to come!
