한국산업노동자의 형성과 생활세계 연구. 한국학술진흥재단 기초학문육성사업의 지원을 받아 현재 한국 산업노동자의 형성과 생활세계 연구를 진행하고 있다. 우리 사회의 발전을 이끌어왔던 주체였음에도 불구하고 항상 뒷전으로 놓이고 잊혀져온 초기 산업화 시기 노동자들의 삶을 발굴하고 복원하여 새로운 역사 쓰기를 시도하고 있다. 이 연구는 3년에 걸쳐 다음과 같은 주제들을 연구하고 있다. 1960-70년대 한국 산업노동자의 형성. 1960-70년대 한국 산업노동자의 노동세계. 1960-70년대 한국 산업노동자의 생활세계. 연구를 통해 얻어진 구술자료를 비롯, 한국의 산업노동사를 생생히 보여줄 수 있는 기록들, 물건, 문건, 시청각 자료 등 다양한 자료들을 발굴하여 노동사를 총체적으로 조망할 수 있는 노동사 아카이브를 구축하고자 한다. 이 사업은 현재 성공회대학교 민주자료관과 공동으로 추진 중에 있다. 152-716 서울특별시 구로구 연동로 320 일만관 2B 304호.

는 한국의 압축적 산업화 과정을 거쳐 형성된 생활세계가 지역 수준에서 변용되는 과정을 고찰하고 한국적 사회통합 모델의 특성을 규명하고자 한다. 기존의 연구는 국가 수준에서 나타나는 현상에 대한 거시적분석이나 개별 업종에 대한 사례 연구에 치중되어 현실적 사회 변화에 대한 구체적인 고찰이 미흡했다. 이에 연구진은 지역이라는 중간 수준의 분석 단위를 설정하고 산업화 과정이 응축되어 있는 서울 서남부의 구로공단지역(현재 서울디지털산업단지)을 1차적인 연구 대상으로 설정하였다. 1960년대 후반에 조성된 구로공단과 그 주변지역은 1990년대 이후에 성공적인 업종 전환을 거쳐 도시형 첨단 산업지역으로 재활성화되었다. 세계화와 시장개방 압력, 노동운동의 활성화가 산업 공동화를 초래할것이라는 우려를불식시키고 현실적으로 산업구조의 고도화와 고용 증대가 이뤄졌다는 사실은 한국 사회의 발전 방향을 시사한다. 장기의제 : 세계화 시대의 산업구조 전환과 생활세계. 1차년도 : 산업구조 전환. 2차년도에는 구로지역의 고용...
