and baby makes three: July 2013
http://thebilberrys.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. The power of an old red shirt. I remember buying Luke this shirt. I put it in his Daddy survival kit just before Madelyn was born. When he put it on the day that she was born, I never would have dreamed that nearly four years later Madelyn would look this cute dancing around our living room in it! I never would have dreamed that her laughter would literally fill our house. Or that she would be so precocious, full of wit, charm and silliness. Thanksgiving for her health. This mor...

Sunday, August 26, 2012. You have been learning new verses each month in your pre school class at church. Your Daddy and I love your enthusiasm for learning God's word. It continues to amaze me how quickly you pick up the new verses and even recall the ones you've learned in the months prior. Today you started singing (if you can call it that- I'm kidding. I love you, sweet girl. God is always with you. Links to this post. Thursday, August 16, 2012. Just something I am thinking about today. The list coul...

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. The difference a year makes. Dear Madelyn Kate,. We visited the Azalea Trails today. You had fun running around with some of your friends. You did make me a little nervous considering your favorite thing to do to flowers is pick them and pull the petals off, but you mainly just looked today. That's a good thing considering how much time and money the families put in to the gardens so that others can enjoy them. I love everything that makes you YOU! I love you always. Since we t...

Allen Adventures: September 2011
http://laurenandtodd.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 19, 2011. Nantucket, part 3. Our last day in Nantucket was a rainy one. Boo. But thankfully, the on and off drizzle didn't stop us from getting out of the house and wrapping up a wonderful vacation. Since we knew we wanted to stay inside while the storm was passing, we went to The Whaling Museum. We were such nerds and sat through several presentations, that were actually pretty interesting! Only mom was brave enough to go and shake his hand and she said he was super nice! And then we f...

Saturday, September 1, 2012. One Sunday night in late August, Madelyn, Luke and I spontaneously grabbed the bag of Fiesta decorations that I had been collecting and headed to Bergfeld park to snap a few pictures of Madelyn to use for her birthday invitation. We had about 30 minutes before we lost all the light so we moved quickly. These are some of my favorites! Cannot believe my sweet girl is almost THREE! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Allen Adventures: Catch Up Post #3 (Spring!)
http://laurenandtodd.blogspot.com/2012/04/catch-up-post-3-spring.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. Catch Up Post #3 (Spring! I did a terrible job of documenting the biggest thing we did this year: sell our house, move into an apartment by Baylor, and start the process of building a new home right across the street from some of our best friends! This seriously is such a dream come true- and a gift from God that I will be praising Him for forever! So between all of the packing, unpacking, and settling in, I completely forgot about documenting anything! So Go, Todd, Go! We celeb...

Monday, July 30, 2012. We did a little family planking the other night. Luke and I participated too but there isn't any evidence like there is of Madelyn. Excuse the terrible phone pics. She's got pretty good form! I love my family. Links to this post. We were a little hesitant to spend any money on something we were sure I would end up killing, but we went for it when we saw a plant that boasted it kept mosquitoes away. You were so excited. Sometimes you get distracted and water the yard. I love to wate...

Keeping up with the Jones': January 2011
http://zachandvanessa.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Jones'. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Parker Burton Jones- 6.1 lbs 20 inches born 1/22/11 @ 9:19am. Normally, pre-me babies at Parker's age have respiratory problems because their lungs are not fully developed. So right when he was born they checked his vitals and then took him to the nursery for the next 6 hours to monitor his breathing, temperature, heart rate, and I'm sure other things too. But our precious pre-me had impressive health, thank the Lord! Thursday, January 20, 2011.
