Each button is individually made. They are great for using to decorate hats, craft projects or something a bit special for a handmade garment. They come in many shapes, sizes, textures and glazes. Special orders are also available. This is the first of a new collection. They are made into decals (transfers) out of my drawings and fired onto these tiny stud earrings. They are a little quirky and look great in mis-matched sets. Better quality picture coming soon.

I will be attending Made By Hand craft fair in Newport Wales. This fair has over 130 stands from makers from all over the UK and Ireland. If you are around pop in to say hello! I will be exhibiting my jewellery range at Tendence in Frankfort, Germany in August 2012. Tendence is the the most important international consumer goods trade fair in the second half of the year for the home and gift sectors.Over 2,000 exhibitors from all over the world come to showcase their latest products.

The Cellular Collection is inspired by microscopic imagery of bacteria. They are made from porcelain clay with powdered colour added to it. Each piece is individually made. Some sections are glazed to highlight detail. They are fired to 1260 Celsius. To see the full range please go to the online shop.

The Vintage Collection features brooches and stud earrings with different floral and vintage patterns. The pieces are made using porcelain clay fired three times. A decal (transfer) is placed on top of the glaze and is fired on in the kiln. No piece is exactly the same. To see more visit the online shop.

I am off to NCECA! I am going to Houston, Texas to attend the NCECA (The National Council for Education tin the Ceramic Arts) conference. I have never been to America before so I am looking forward to that and to seeing lots of exhibitions! I am getting ready to show my work at “Made By Hand” in Newport Wales. It’s going to be a fun road trip! I have just been awarded an Artlinks makers grant! It is a fantastic opportunity and I am really looking forward to using it next year.
