claire365: Transformers, More than Meets The Eye
http://claire365.blogspot.com/2007/06/transformers-more-than-meets-eye.html
Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Transformers, More than Meets The Eye. This transformer is 1/2 inch wide. The 42 gauge wire (to the right) is like hair. My husband makes these - by hand. Of course a precision high speed winder turns that fine wire 266 times around the bobbin. Electronic testing equipment will let us know if it is even one turn off. This is a Completed transformer, with the core stacked, and the leads (22 gauge gold plated copper) bent just so. The unit is soaked in epoxy in a vacuum chamber.

But here are some pictures from the wedding I did Saturday. I don't think I knew you "did" weddings! I love the black and whites. August 8, 2007 at 11:13 PM. Timeless Joys: May 2007
http://timelessjoys.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 19, 2007. I left home at 5:30 to drop the boys off at their first formal event. The night ended with an 11:00 showing of Shrek III with us getting to bed around 2:30. What a blessing that my teenagers want to include me in their late night outings with friends. Wednesday, May 16, 2007. I often feel like this hydrangea. I just can't decide if I'm going to be sweet or sour! A butterfly plant ready to take flight! Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Sunday, May 13, 2007. Wednesday, May 9, 2007.

Timeless Joys
http://timelessjoys.blogspot.com/2007/05/flowers-of-summer-are-just-as-beautiful.html
Tuesday, May 15, 2007. The flowers of summer are just as beautiful as those of spring, but here in south Louisiana the weather is so hot and humid you just don't stay outside as much to enjoy them, so photographys are the next best thing. That rose is lovely! And the grass is so lush! As we are in the middle of the worst drout the country has ever seen. Grass does kinda look great to me right now! June 4, 2007 at 3:53 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I often feel like this hydran.

Narrating my world in photos, one day at a time. Tuesday, May 22, 2007. A few more of my days. This set is from last week. Like father, like daughter. On Mother's Day before we went out to dinner, Steve and Susannah helped me put a second coat of finish on the kitchen floor. We were in the midst of a last big push to get the house ready to show. Monday night we took a break from house tasks to go to Senior Honors Night. Here Liz is on stage getting one of her awards/scholarships. Monday, May 21, 2007.

Paula's Pictures: June 2007
http://paula365.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 27, 2007. I feel much better now. : ). Monday, June 25, 2007. Sunday, June 24, 2007. I can't believe how infrequently I've been posting. I've been out of town though and that makes it tough. WSS is a step back in time and that includes internet time! Rocking chairs on the front porch of the hotel are about as high tech as things get. Art did a little skiing. Not bad for a fifty-something guy who hasn't done it for over a decade. He even did some time on one ski! One or two days at a time!

Saturday, January 31, 2009. GUARDIAN By Katie Hines! Katie says about her book:. This is a story about a real-to-life treasure story. It is about a boy who struggles with guilt and a personal destiny, and it is a story about family, love and making commitments beyond yourself. The cast is replete with four teens, a professorial grandfather, a wacky grandmother and a mysterious knight, whose very life is dedicated to ensuring the safety of not just one, but two treasures.".
