It can be very costly in some hospitals when it come to Parking and Eating for relatives of the patient, on average it can cost 70 per week for Parking and 175 per week for food if you are staying at the hospital all the time like we did. We set up LDHS (Learning Disability Hospital Support) in support of our son Kristian and all the other young people similar to him. This is his story and the reason why we set up the charity. Despite Kristian’s health complications he has thankfully spent little time in hospital and no time at all as an adult, up until October 2010 that is. Bradford District Care Trust.
