Sharing needles since 1997. Thursday, December 24, 2009. I'm going to get presents later, when everything is on sale. For now, this is what I've been up to:. My friend went to Short Course Nationals for swimming, so I made these for her to congratulate her. I'm kind of into the baking thing nowadays, so I made some marshmallow fondant as an experiment and covered six cupcakes with it. As far as I'm concerned, they turned out pretty well for not having a circle and not having a proper rolling pin.

Sharing needles since 1997. Sunday, July 21, 2013. Yarn: Malabrigo Sock in stonechat. Needles: US 1, 2.25 mm. Cast on: July 18, 2013. Cast off: July 20, 2013. And I had 35 g of the Malabrigo Sock left over! My fingers are itching to spin, and the minute I'm back from my vacation, I'll be snatching up at least 8 oz of polwarth roving. Sharing needles since 1997. Wednesday, May 19, 2010. But yes, all places have faults. Lexington's one fault (and this applies for much of Kentucky, I assume) is horses, horses, and OMGHORSES. Everywhere we went, we were bombarded by horse pictures, horse paintings, horse statuettes, the works. Other than the horses though, I'm pretty sure this place is perfect.
