Engaging in physical activity where it is hot puts stress on the body’s cooling system. The harder your body works, the more heat it has to dissipate to maintain temperature equilibrium. Environmental heat stress can place additional strain on your body that may lead to fatigue, dehydration, heat-related illnesses and possibly even death.

Skip to main content. On February 17, 2015 - 10:11am. While emptying the substance (during grouting) from the container the temporary site supervisor climbed on the container to guide the tube. He did not respect the work instruction, the LSR (Rule n 6, work at height) was breached and he was not wearing any PPE. Person was immediately asked to stop his activities and was removed from site. Person did not respect instructions, although he was aware of them. Always do your Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA).

Skip to main content. Canopy hit by picker during demolition works - Belgium. On February 17, 2015 - 10:23am. Shared by Artelia International. While demolishing a pump island, the canopy was hit by the picker. The canopy was damaged. The worker was alone, so there was nobody to guide the operation. There was no height alarm on the equipment to warn the operator on structures at height. The JSA did not identify the need of a signal-person. Always perform your Last Minute Risk Assessment (LMRA).

Tiler Tripping Incident | POST

Skip to main content. On February 17, 2015 - 10:17am. Before leaving the site, a tiler intended to clean his tools in an area outside the future forecourt in order not to damage the base grade. For this, he left the road area. Stepping into the future green area he tripped over the curb stone already in place and fell down on his shoulder, resulting in a shoulder dislocation. He had rehabilitartion and was 3 weeks away from work. The tiler was inattentive while walking into the green area.
