There is a flaw in the general practice, which is that a law graduates has to work in the kutcheri/district courts for a minimum of six months under the supervision of a senior lawyer. After which he/she can qualify and be eligible to apply for s court license. Bar Transfer Test – Society for the Advancement of Legel Education

Recently, in January 2013, the Bar Standards Board (BSB), has introduced a short and cost effective route to becoming a Barrister. This shorter and flexible path is for the qualified lawyers who have good practice in commonwealth countries. Without British LLB (Hons). Now you can be a Barrister within few months at a lower cost, by simply sitting in a test, named as Bar Transfer Test (BTT). Subject to approval from the BSB. The test is held twice a year (April/September). Application to BSB for Approval.
