Interstitial Spaces: Colour Play
http://espaceinterstitiel.blogspot.com/2013/06/colour-play.html
Express your creativity and reconnect with timeless textile traditions. Tuesday, 4 June 2013. When the Schacht Zoom Looms. Arrived at the studio, I eagerly pulled out some yarns and started planning projects. These two sock yarns have been in my stash for years, and I thought they would look great together. Two lovely blues; why wouldn't they work? Well first I tried them with one in the warp and the other in the weft . and didn't like the results. Great idea to use the Zoom Loom to sample. Me to set up ...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. I Knew I Was Having a Slow Year…. August 11, 2015. I really had no idea how little I had accomplished from a crafting standpoint until, on a whim, I looked at my FOs for the year. Considering I have, for the past several years, completed in the neighbourhood of 25 knitted projects over the span of the year, I’d say calling this one slow is a massive understatement. I have, to date in 2015, completed exactly five. I took a sewing class, although, if I am...

Knit-University: Tulips Two Needles
http://knit-university.blogspot.com/2012/05/tulips-two-needles.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. Kim, Lori, Mimi, Peggy, Nancy. I went to Seattle with my knitting friends. Lori is from Seattle and the last time she went for a visit she raved about Churchmouse Yarns and Teas on Bainbridge Island. The four of us decided to take a visit. Lori's fabulous parents, Hal and Mimi generously offered their lovely home, this afforded us more funds for yarn shopping! Before we move on to the yarn shop. These are the tulip fields. Another day, a car ride on the ferry to Bainbridge Island.

Black*Eiffel: Inside Nature : Pink
http://blackeiffel.blogspot.com/2012/07/inside-nature-pink.html
Inside Nature : Pink. Did you know about the pink lake called Lake Retba. It is pink due to its super high salt content that supports the growth of a red pigmented microorganism that turns the water pink. The color changes to different shades of pink throughout the year. Surprised and amazed to come across it, I decided that I am going to start up the Inside Nature series. Again Nature is so fascinating! This time I'm also going to also throw in a little fashion. What do ya think? 2 Red Monroe Shift.
