Tuesday, December 23, 2014. So now that it's officially winter I thought I'd share a few tips I've personally found helpful to shooting in the snow. Living in the middle of Alaska for the last 15 years I've picked up a few tips. If you are lucky enough to be shooting in the snow on a sunny day try changing your aperture to f18 or above and adjusting your shutter speed and ISO accordingly, making sure to keep your exposure at 1. Makes for a beautiful starburst effect. Trust me, that tip will come in handy!

I found the recipe on Damn Delicious right HERE. 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts instead). 16 ounces baby red potatoes, halved. 16 ounces baby carrots. 16 ounces green beans, trimmed. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves. 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried basil. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano.
