Sunday, March 12, 2006. Munising (March 10 - 12, 2006). Melanie and I departed work at 2:30 PM, Friday, on our long-awaited trip to Munising, Michigan. Our reservations at the Sunset Motel on the Bay. Our first disappointment was Seguin's. Being closed on the ride up. We missed it by one hour. The original plan was to search for an apartment, because I was planning my immediate relocation, but the plans changed and the trip turned into a visit for the sheer enjoyment of it. Yesterday I was teaching a patron how to use photo editing software and I'd just finished illustrating the way to crop a picture, by drawing a box around the area to keep and clicking to crop to the selection. She very innocently looked at me and asked, "So, where does the rest of the photo go when you crop it? I blinked. I waited for her to rephrase the question. She continued looking at me in awe.
