I'm pretty sure we have a thrill seeker on our hands! While the following is not entirely dangerous, it just shows the sort of wild man we are trying to tame :). It actually has tires with traction and it won't get "stuck" in anything. He loves it but knows he can get his sisters escalade can get "stuck," and he has a blast doing so! Just call me mommy. Are we there yet? Sunday, January 10, 2010. Over the holidays I got to visit with my best friend Kate, her husband Steven and her two beautiful daughters Megan and Lauren. Since she lives a 1000 miles away we don't see each other very often. I hadn't even met Lauren yet. Anyway, we all got to hang out for a few hours. It was SUCH a fun time! Thursday, January 7, 2010. Just call me mommy. Are we there yet? Sunday, November 15, 2009. Here she is in her new glasses! Sweet Avery has to wear glasses. Forever. I have to say it's a little weird when you've seen your child one way for so long, then something changes like this. It's an adjustment for all of us. She's doing great, tho. She doesn't complain and she usually remembers to wear them. Her eyesight in her left eye is so bad that I don't understand how she never complained. The dr. said she compensated VERY well.
