Saturday, February 5, 2011. We celebrated Brendan's 4th birthday last Sunday with all of his friends. And it was FUN! We had a Batman/Spiderman birthday party. Here's Brendan doing his spiderman pose before the party started. He looks so scary and serious ;-). Spiderman and his mom. This year I decided to do cupcakes instead of a cake like we usually do. And I decided that I would make them! Well, I can't take credit for these cute cupcakes. My mom made them and she did a great job! I love this picture!

Friday, January 21, 2011. And finally here we are on Christmas Day! When I was a kid my sister and I always got stuffed animals in our stockings and now the grandkids do too. So fun! We woke up a little after 7 am Brendan was dying to get out of bed and we finally let him when we heard Erin, Jake and Mary Cate. The other boys and grandparents were still sleeping. Brendan ran into the living room to see if Santa had come. When he saw that indeed he had, Brendan said "I was a good boy!

Saturday, August 14, 2010. When Daddy cuts my hair. That sounds like a book title to me for some reason. Brendan is lucky enough to have a dad whose got some skills in the hair department. We go back and forth on having Justin cut Brendan's hair or taking him to the kiddie cut place. The past few times we've paid for a haircut, it just hasn't been very good. Justin makes Brendan's hair look the best plus it's free! But there is a lot more crying and drama when we do this at home. I'm so proud of him....

Monday, June 28, 2010. You must try these. This weekend has been one full of sweets! I usually try to be good and lay off of them as much as possible (yeah, right), but I discovered these two things in Target yesterday that are too good not to share. Be warned though, they are addicting. Now, I'm not really a twinkie fan, but who can resist this childhood favorite that is only 100 calories! Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Well we have had our baby girl home with us for almost two weeks now! Believe it or not, the transition has been pretty easy.(so far)! Sydney Jo Sherrer came to us on March 25 at 12:33 weighing a mighty 8 lbs 13 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. She had the chubbiest cheeks and lots of dark hair! Another big change this month is that John switched jobs! Great timing, I know, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity. So far it is going really well, but he is very busy and trying to learn all the new stuff that comes with a new job! Last, but definetly not least, Sydney will make her grand appearance tomorrow! Monday, November 23, 2009. We just found out today that Samuel will have a baby sister! We are so excited!
