Life with the Moffitts
Life with the Moffitts. Monday, November 14, 2011. I know the title of my post makes our life sound so exciting ;) But really, we "remodeled" our pantry and love the results. Check out the before and after pics below. See-through door. check out that mess. Lots of stuff on the floor. Can shelves and broom hanger (dog food, trash and recycling on bottom). Shelves on the left now - the vertical storage is my favorite! Empty shelves so you can see what it looks like. Saturday, September 10, 2011. We sure do...

Fueled By Family
Monday, April 30, 2012. I have a blog? I haven't posted on here since the beginning of the school year and now.drum roll.there are only 20 days left until summer break! Due to moving, a lack of internet, and a laptop that has been packed-up.I still don't really know where, I have been seriously out of the blog loop! Since I last blogged, we had a 14th birthday, a 4th birthday, a 2nd birthday, a 9th birthday, and a FIRST birthday! So why did we move? And where are we now! In all the moving chaos, Trey lan...

Life In The Cuckoo's Nest
Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Madison and I went on an scavenger hunt around UVU! Posted by Dori Montoya. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Wow, my last post was on the last day of school, and now school starts next week! I think this has been one of my all time favorite summers ever! I've just enjoyed every single day! Who could ask for more? Ethans feet grew 2 sizes, but other than that, I never see him changing. He always just looks like my little boy. His face and hairstyle never ...We ha...

Life with the Moore Family. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." James 1:17. Sunday, September 28, 2014. We cant live in a Bubble. Now he (Alan) has been amazing and so supportive. I know he didn't say that to me flippantly or anything but for some reason that has really stuck with me because sometimes, I want that bubble! God I look to You. I won't be overwhelmed. God I look to You. We chose ...

Life with the Morgans
Saturday, August 3, 2013. Omaha Walk: Walk to Defeat ALS. I am "virtually" walking in Omaha's Walk to DeFeat ALS. I joined my friend Doug's team to raise money for our friends at the Keith Worthington Chapter. Hard to believe our friendship with the chapter began over 8 years ago! I have taken some time off from the walk-world, but I come back for a friend and a chapter until there is a cure. I know many of you still give to the chapter. I thought this might make it easier. Friday, September 12, 2014. It took me about 30 seconds though before a smile spread across my face. You see my first pregnancy with Jeremiah. Was hard. And my second with Eliza. Was even more difficult. It is hard to know that you are about to walk through a difficult time before it even starts. Around 12 weeks pregnant my blood pressure started to spike so I began taking a blood pressure medicine. I also was taking zofran and reglan to help with the sickness. It was a strange waiting period. We wer...

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. As I stare at the beautiful blinking cursor on microsoft word, I decided the best thing to do about my multiculturalism paper that is due tomorrow is to ignore it. While procrastinating is not my style, I can't help but drag out the last paper due for this crazy summer session of grad school. In fact, it is my LAST paper due before SMU course work is DONE! Have I mentioned SMU has NOTHING on Baylor? Yeah, well, it doesn't (in my humble opinion). Tuesday, June 8, 2010. While there ...

Life with the Mozas. Sharing bento lunches, pretty tables and recipes as I chronicle our life! Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Skillet Frittata with berries. Today, I separated the eggs from the potatoes and squash, but the same cooking method applies. Cut the potatoes and squash really thin and saute in bacon grease til done. A simple scrambled egg and tomatoes with green onion and olive oil, salt, and pepper compliments this dish so very well. Friday, March 18, 2016. Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Since I knew I w...

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. However - so many times in these posts, there's a lot said about moms who stop at 1 or 2 kids and why we choose to do so. And often it's implied, or even straight out said, that we are stopping for selfish reasons, or a lack of trust in God, or we really don't believe that children are blessing. I would have had a third baby, we talked about it. In a perfect world i would have had a dozen. But we don't live in a perfect world. And we don't always get what we want. My children ...
