Hommie and Dabi came over for Easter and we met up with Grandma Ann and Grandad at St. Paul's for the family service. Mom needed to hear "Up From The Grave He Arose" and "Chris The Lord Is Risen Today" with brass and the St Paul's choir. There is no place like St Paul's for Easter! The Bunny Carrot Cake, made by Grandma Ann, decorated by Grandad.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Secret playground meeting during AJ's birthday party. 4th of July parade. Great fireworks show viewed from the top of our street. In the middle of Theodore Roosevelt Island is a statue of Theodore Roosevelt, fountains and four HUGE granite tablets with cool quotes and philosophies from "Teddy". The rest of the island is a wooded tribute to the 26th President and his passion for the earth's natural places and foresight in planning for conservation and preservation.
