Monday, August 27, 2012. The final week of summer is in the books. Lily and Jack finished a busy week of playing and pool time. After the beach, the rest of the week went by quickly. On Friday, Lily went to visit her new school and met her new teacher. She is very excited about this school year and her new school. Monday, September 24, 2012. Two weeks since the last posting. We spent last weekend in Montreal celebrating Rosh Hashana with Bubbie, Donna, Stephen, Emilie, Stephanie, and other family. We spent a lot of time eating and just hanging out, it was great to spend time with everyone. A little left over from Lily's back to school night. Getting some swimming in at the hotel pool. In the middle of Theodore Roosevelt Island is a statue of Theodore Roosevelt, fountains and four HUGE granite tablets with cool quotes and philosophies from "Teddy". The rest of the island is a wooded tribute to the 26th President and his passion for the earth's natural places and foresight in planning for conservation and preservation.
