Monday, June 22, 2015. My sister and I plus Autumn made a road trip to Port Orchard to visit my dad, jannelle and grandpa on father's day. It was such a good visit. My granpda is 92 and going strong. I love that he is so active and still has things he wants to do. I get my go get 'em attitude from him. My dad wanted a picture with Autumn on this bear because he was photographed the same as a kid. This card below came from the House of 3 printable. Still gotta love it! I made this one for Christopher's dad.

Friday, July 31, 2015. Linda wanted pictures, but Donnie was by her head helping her to breathe, so Donnie gave me the camera. Funny how the things you don't really want to do, you end up doing! Linda was so pleased to have those pics. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Old and New Stash - Birthday Card. Back in Dec., I had a great idea to use up my Heidi Swapp silhouette flowers on top of glittered chipboard flowers. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. So I said yesterday that DIY was off the calendar this year, but not to crafty DIYs! I scored a free bag of wine corks at work and knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. I spray painted a 10x10 canvas gold then hot glued the wine corks down. Voila! Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Fire in the backyard. A fire pit to be exact! My goal since moving into this house has been to reduce my mow time and since Christopher brought all these free bricks home I was so down on making a fire pit in this area. I still need to figure out the seating area, but other than that it is done. We also added two large tree stumps we got for free off of Craigslist as little side tables. The only cost was the sand and gravel. I love a low budget DIY. Here's what we had before -.

Monday, August 24, 2015. Godzilla and The Nisqually Delta. Doing better about getting out on the weekend and taking these legs for a walk. On Saturday, we drove to the Nisqually Delta and walked around 4 miles. We stopped for pizza at Olympia Old School Pizza and found a kid's festival to walk through. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. A little bit of summer. The past two weekends, Christopher and I have had lazy weekends. Since DIY is off the calendar, we are trying to get out more and hike. On the 1st, we walked for an hour and half on the trails at Point Defiance and last Saturday we walked a little bit on Ruston Way and found this cool water spot at the Chinese Reconciliation Park. I actually had to pick and pick to get Mr. Outdoor Enthusiast out the door! He seemed quite content lounging at home :).
