Invited us to come to Greer's Ferry for the weekend, and we decided to leave Asa with our in-laws. We needed it! It was so relaxing and some much needed "adult" time and conversation with some of our best friends. The girls: Chelsea, Kara, Amanda, Amy B., Me, and Amy H. Matt, Kara, Ellery, and Amy B. She had it all decorated and served chili, smores, Apple Cider, and "Mummy Dogs" for the kids! None of which I took a picture of). boo. I am thankful for such great friends! All the kids came dressed up and had the best time! Ellery as an Owl. Cooper as a Pirate. Asa as a Monkey. Little Pumpkin, Garrison and his momma Stephanie. Tatum as a beautiful and very hip Fairy.

Thursday, May 31, 2012. Sea Grove Beach 2012- Part 1. OHHHI miss this place. We have never stayed in Sea Grove before, but it was wonderful. It's just down the road from Seaside which had most of the restaurants and activity, and I loved being more in a community with less traffic and people. It was great! Because we took so many pictures, this is just a start. All our family pictures are to come! Our last day :(. Asa and his three (boy) cousins. My beautiful sis in law! My sis and beautiful niece, Lilly.

Super excited and ready to get this child named. 2)John has been crazy busy lately. Good part: we are fully adjusted to it. Bad part: I'm sure it will now slow down and we will have to readjust. The part I hate: the change! 3)nothing really new, just skipping through summer with lots of therapy (10x a week! And trips to the zoo.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. New Home Sweet Home. We have had our taste of adventure the last couple of weeks. We came out to Denver with out a place to live. Which means all of our worldly possessions were in the back of a truck parked in a hotel parking lot. Let me just say it was a great experience, but we will hopefully never have to do it again. One of his current Grad Professors asked him to teach her class on Jansenism (17th and 18th Century Catholic Reform movement in France). He had written a paper on the topic over the summer and she liked it so much that she asked him to teach the class! And on Thursday evening he will teach her graduate class on the same subject! I'm so proud of this kid!
