Parties and a Day in the Life. Friday, April 24, 2009. Fourteen Years Bad Luck. That's what this is! Captured in the Barnes and Noble parking lot, I spied this fabulous example of the pioneer spirit. Apparently the driver knocked off their side mirror and cleverly duct taped a hand mirror in its place. Looking closely, it appears they've earned another 7 years' bad luck because the hand mirror is cracked, too! Here's a tip, hand-mirror-as-side-mirror-driver-dude: Allow yourself a wider margin of error!

March 10, 2010 · Filed under Design Feature. Be it a wedding, a birthday, or even a simple dinner party acknowledging someone else’s efforts go a long way! Showing you are gracious person, appreciative of others is so important. As. Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette. Says, “Whatever the gift, whether a place setting or a gift of time or talent, it must be acknowledged.”. I recently had the lovely opportunity to work with Maggi, a bride whose wedding was shot by my talented friend Joel Austell. Traditionally...

Shortly before I came back home again, I was able to do a brief session with my sister, her husband and my brand new nephew! I love shooting in new locations, and I love even more not having to leave the yard for an awesome experience. Blessings abound. I also love using things that are special to families in my sessions. These blankets were made by loved ones for the little mister. And this blanket was made by me!

Parties and a Day in the Life. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Halloween has finally come and gone and I am so. Over fake spiderwebs stretched across my house and all things zombie! It is official - I am ready for Christmas to get here. But before I hang a sprig of mistletoe I thought I'd share some photos from our family's Fourth Annual Halloween Spook-tacular. We had a great turn out of kids (and adults) ready to carve up some pumpkins, bob for apples and parade in their costumes. The spooky dessert buffet.

Parties and a Day in the Life. Friday, May 22, 2009. We threw a last minute Oscar party at our pad so I pulled together this concession stand in a hurry. I'd been wanting to try these "popcorn" cupcakes for awhile now and gave it my own twist by having a couple of kernels. With the aid of some white floral wires. Lots of work, but I love how they turned out! Hand cut cupcake wrappers. Mini marshmallows make for amazing popcorn. Posted by Angela Rudy. Sunday, May 10, 2009. Warning posted by the proprietor.
